Both Bob and I attended both Mountsfield Public School and London (ON) South Collegiate those many years ago. Bob was four years older than I and he was, as an outstanding football players, one of my boyhood heroes. We also attended Central Baptist Church in London where Bob would frequently praise the Lord in song. I am at once saddened to learn (in March, 2023) of his passing but rejoice in the knowledge that he is with our Lord and Saviour. My sincere condolences to Bob’s family.

I am so grateful to have met Pastor Bob. What an incredible example to so many. His legacy will never be extinguished because he represents too many wonderful people that I love. Bob was a great Husband, Father, Pastor, teacher, counselor and friend but I think his greatest gift was listening. He looked directly at you, he listened intently, literally hanging on to every word. He digested every word in love and thought before he responded with great wisdom. He made me want to be a better listener and that’s a big task. He even made it fun to hang out in a nursing home with his kindness and humor. I will truly miss you my friend. Chip

To all the family Ann and the boys , I loved and respected Pastor Bob for all our years of knowing him and all of you . My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you at this time . Take comfort in knowing he touched many lives in his journey here on this earth. Including mine . Always kind and thoughtful and I know that he’s probably already working for our Lord in heaven . One last thing . He sure was a snazzy dresser ! Love you all and God bless you and comfort you . Barbara Boyce ❤

"Pastor Norris" is how I always referred to this special man. He pastored what I considered to be the best church in Sumter, Harmony Church. As a young child, I sat captivated during his sermons. It was Pastor Norris´ passion for Jesus and his love of preaching that made Harmony so incredibly special. He built a sincere and loving community amongst us that has continued even decades later. To God be the glory for a beautiful gift, to all who knew him.

Mrs. Anne, Todd, Robbie, Jeff, Sullivan, Noah and all of Pastor Bob's grandchildren and little Chesley, I just want to express my profound heartache at the loss of Pastor Bob. I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I will always love Bob and each of you. He was not only my Pastor but friend who I will miss greatly until I see Jesus face to face and all of my family and friends who have gone home before me again!

I attended the Church at Sandhurst in 1992, where I met Pastor Bob and his lovely wife Anne. Pastor Bob led me to the Lord in early 1993, and I was baptized by him. I will always remember him and all that the church meant to me, especially as a young Christian.
Pastor Bob, you will be missed.

Bob was mine and Debby's first pastor as a married couple. We have fond memories of Harmony Church and Bob's teaching/preaching. I never will forget him coming to the hospital when our son, James, was born during an ice storm after helping another member clear ice of his business' roof. He served well.

Pastor Bob was such a Great Pastor, A Man of God, A Dear Friend that Our Family loved beginning when he and Anne came to Harmony several years ago! Every Sunday, he would never forget your families names and was a dynamic pastor to "definitely feed his flock"! May God Continue to Wrap his Arms around each and know that Bob has truly found peace thru Our Lord! He is having such a Great Time in His Permanent Home as I can´t wait.......

Lunchtime, Bob and I would always find a restaurant. We hung out for 35 years. Many great moments. We paddled in my double kayak a few times... we quietly did some fishing, like a scene out of Andy Griffith Show. He married Kathy and myself... He drove to my Dad's funeral 100 miles away! He had the coolest glasses and clothes!

Sad to hear of Pastor Bob's passing, but I know the Lord has welcomed his good and faithful servant. I am forever grateful to Pastor Bob for his compassion, teaching, guidance, and counseling at a time in my life when I was lost and my world was falling apart. When I chose Jesus as my lord and savior He put Bob in my life to show me the way. I am sure I was only one of many who can share the same story as Pastor Bob´s desire was to bring as many to the Lord as he could. I pray for peace and comfort for family and friends. He was a blessing in my life and will be remembered forever.

I love Pastor Bob and his whole family and waking up every day will feel like we’re missing something but we know that he is in heaven and the angels are rejoicing with him .He taught me so much about myself and about the Bible he was the best Bible teacher I have ever met or heard in my life from 20 years at Sandhurst to two years at King Avenue I learned so much from him and he will be missed he brought me and my family through so many trials and I will miss him terribly. To Anne and Robbie and Todd and Jeff the world just seems a little empty today but we rejoice knowing that he is definitely in heaven and that was his goal to get as many of us there with him as he could for Christ and I think Jesus is now saying Job well done my good and faithful son. I pray that God will give peace and comfort to all of you
