All things finally come to rest. My personal condolences for those members of the family that this took so long to come to closure.
I meet three boys, as we are boys at that time in our lives, from Lost Nations when I was in Fort Bliss Texas undergoing Basic Training. Chuck was one of those boys and the others were Dennis and Gene. We became friends and I served more time with Gene and was always aware of Chuck and his fate. I have flown the POW / MIA flag at my house for several years as a personal tribute to him.

Dear O'Hara family, I was on the podium when the memorial in Clinton was dedicated. Your loss and long suffering has been, in a small way, shared by me and many others whom gave our time and blood in the quagmire of our country's involvment in Viet Nam. My greatest hope for you is a bit of peace in knowing the whereabouts of Chuck's mortal remains.
To you and Chuck, Garry Owen!
