Robert Ochsenrider Obituary
Robert was a hard working, excellent manager who had a passion for farming. He enjoyed hunting when young, loved family, children and his grand children. His ability to fix machinery was second to none, he was always helping a neighbor and never turned down a conversation.
Robert is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marjorie (Welden), whom he married October 29, 1944 at her grandparents home of Charles and Grace Borden's on there 50th wedding anniversary; daughter Patty Vagg of Litchfield; three sons Tom (Joan) of Litchfield; Chuck (Cathy) of Coldwater and Roger (Jerilyn) of California; 11 grandchildren Scott Ochsenrider, Angela Taylor, Amy Stratbucker, Stephanie Vagg, Stacy Steffler, Amy Church, Alicia Abfall, Lindsay Ochsenrider, Emily Smith, Nick Ochsenrider and Ehren Ochsenrider; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine Rice and Pauline Curey
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield. Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Litchfield library or American Cancer Society.
Arrangements entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel.
