Bill and Alice, my heartfelt condolences to you on Bob's recent passing. He was a dear friend and superb paddle player. He would invent shots and then name them. His favorite was 'Sammy the Sidewinder'

I am deeply sadden to learn of the passing of Bob. He was a very integral part of my high schooldays as well as dated my best friend, Lynn. I will always remember him with a large smile on his face & a twinkle in his eyes

Wow, I am so sorry.
Bob was a great friend, paddle partner, skier and person. Even though it has been many years I think about Bob surprisingly often, for all those reasons.
Mr. and Mrs. Oehlschlager, as I can't help but refer to you, you both were equally so, which reinforces the old saying about apples falling near the tree. I feel for your loss and send my very fond regards.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Oelschlager and family,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies at Bobby's passing.

While I haven't been in touch with him since our days at Shady Side Academy and the PFC, we had some great times on Willow Run and around the Campbell's Lake, back in the day!

We began our friendship in 6th grade, but sadly lost touch after high school.

I remember Bobby as a great guy, with a terrific outlook on life and I am very shocked and saddened that his life has ended so soon.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all, as you grieve Bobby's loss and celebrate his life.

My deepest condolences!

Sincerely,

Harrison Lauer

Bill and Alice:

I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a first class guy and a people magnet.

To Bill and Alice-

I am so saddened by your loss. I reside in Florida now, and I have been out of touch with the Pittsburgh Paddle community. Your son was one of my all-time favorites, both as a paddle partner and as a person. Though I haven't seen Bobby for almost thirty years, my memories of him are very clear. God Bless you and the kids. -Bob Wiltman

Bill&Alice,
Very sorry to read about Bobby's death in the paper this morning. You lost a really great kid. What a great paddle partner he was.Too bad that he won't be around to teach his sons how to play tennis and paddle. I hope that you two are enjoying your life in Sante Fe. Give us a call the next time that you visit the burg.
Best regards,
clay
