So sorry to read about Bob's death. What a wonderful man he was! Haven't seen him since my Cold Spring Harbor days (a gazillion years ago) but remember him vividly. He was a joy to be around. My deepest sympathy to his family at this time.

Dear Ned and Liz,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Bob made such a difference in so many young lives, including mine. I will never forget his kindness, generosity, and confidence in the potential of all his associates. And I continue to feel great emotion when I remember how, when my father died in 1998 (only one year into my time at Orion), Bob closed the office for the afternoon so that he and all my co-workers could make the pilgrimage up to Yonkers for the wake. May his memory be a blessing to you and your families.
With sympathy,
Liz
