Robert Peterkin

I met Robert only once. His reputation preceded him as well as many compliments I've heard over the year from 70's English High alums. He took an opportunity in the midst of racial division and turned it on its head with leadership, support and direction for many students. I true man of Honor and Achievement in the most strict sense of our motto. God take him in peace.

Bob was my godfather and one of the most intelligent, compassionate, attentive, motivating, hilarious, sensible, encouraging people I´ve had the pleasure of being a part of the village that raised me.
I will never forget his passion for music and the arts. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of and will be of all the great vinyl we listened to. Bob and Louise loved me and our family completely and unconditionally and I´m comforted by the knowledge that they are reunited once again.

I met Mr Peterkin I'm 1974 when I attended English High School. He was Principal and he was a great one. Always caring for all Students within the school. Always available to listen. He gave students opportunities to work in the office. I am the class of 1978 and I have to say He gave us the Best Graduation Ever. R.I.P Mr Peterkin you were the Best

I met Bob earlier this year when my team and I moved him from his home in Arlington to an apartment in Cambridge. He was a pleasure to get to know. His humor and kindness created a positive work environment for us all. Bob's vast collection of Jazz albums and posters were fun to look through, and he enjoyed having his favorites hung in his new home. A wonderful man, and an inspiration to all.
