Robert Pettit Obituary
Rochester: May 25, 2007. Predeceased by his wife, Belva A Pettit, & son, Neal E. Pettit. Bob is survived by his son, Robert (Nancy) Pettit, Jr. of CA; daughter, Carol Ann Pettit; daughter-in-law, Lee (Ed) Segalla of Las Vegas; sister-in-law, Donabelle Kouba of WI; 2 grandchildren, Meredith & Ben; also nieces & nephews.
He was a WWII Army veteran & member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. An active Mason, Bob was a member & Past Master of Wakan-Hubbard Lodge No. 154, Past Commander & Chief of the Valley of Rochester A.A.S.R., & was coroneted a 33rd Degree Mason in 1979. Other Masonic participation included: Damascus Shrine, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Rochester Forest No 133, Past High Priest Hiram Chapter No. 62 R.A.M., Doric Council No. 19 Cryptic Masons, Genesee College No 25, Cyrene-Monroe Commandery No. 12 K.T. Bob was a Past District Deputy Grand Master (1983) & received the DeMolay Legion of Honor.
On Saturday (June 23rd) at 10:15 AM please join the family for Bob's Masonic & White Rose Service followed at 11 AM by his Memorial Service at Redeemer Lutheran Church (1549 Dewey Ave., 14615). For those wishing, please consider honoring Bob with a donation to the Memorial Fund of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Online Condolences welcomed at:
