Dorothy and family... I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I fondly remember as a teenager being glued to the radio during brier week. When most teens were idolizing football or hockey players ... Bob was my sports hero. Thanks for all of those wonderful curling memories Bob.

My deepest condolences to all the the Pickering families, I was so sorry to hear of your loss of Bob, I have fond memories coming to your home and the farm with Dad to visit. He was a great character,man and curler. It was always a thrill to watch Peewee curl who could ever forget that back swing of his. It was an honor to have known him. He will be missed by so many. I am saddened to read of Bob's passing. As I read my mind drifted back to a New Year's Eve dance in Avonlea, driving through a fierce blizzard and our unplanned stay in the Wilcox Hotel. We were so young. Cherish those memories. My condolences to you and your family.
