Robert Walter Pinkard

PINKARD - Robert W. "Butch" Pinkard, age 72, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; his step-sons, David Cahill and wife Laurel, of Rockport, TX and Donald Cahill and wife Sharon of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Ann Perry of Littlefield, TX and many other relatives and friends. Butch graduated high school in Lubbock, Texas. He had a great fondness for the outdoors enjoying fishing, particularly in Colorado. He was extremely mechanical and had a love for motorcycles, traveling many places. Butch, along with friends, traveled as far north as the North Pole on one occasion. Together, he and Wanda traveled by motorcycle to many interesting and fun places in the United States. Butch retired from AUI, Inc. where he had enjoyed many years working with and for the people there. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at French-University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
