I met Bob when I was 18 years old, studying at the Ohio State University. He has been my friend since then which amounts to 44 years. He saw me go from a confused, angry, self-destructive, teenager to now a productive professional. I never missed remembering him on his birthday (May 7th) and was an honored guest at his birthday parties for many years, food prepared by Marlene who happens to be the best cook in the world. I was able to visit with Bob and Marlene in October of 2007. We enjoyed Chinese food together while Bob shared with me his many recent drawings. Bob and Marlene have been an anchor in my life and thank God Marlene is here to carry on his name and protect his artwork. I am glad he is not suffering anymore. I will miss him so very much.

I have a hard time remembering some of my dad's brothers since I was so young when they died. I will always remember Uncle Bob though. I am so glad that he took the time to visit when he did. He really care about my dad and was very good about keeping in touch. I know that you are in a better place now and will spend Christmas with all your family members again. You were loved and will be missed!

Bob was my brother-in-law, whom I have known over 60 years. I have more memories than I have room to share. He was the last of the brothers to go & meet the Lord, so I can imagine the "Hallelujah" good time that they are all having together-including their mom & dad. "I will miss you, Bob, I always enjoyed you & Marlene's visits, the good times (and good meals) we shared together. But now, you have the good life & I will see you again someday soon. Say Hi to Joe for me & tell him How very much I miss him." From your "favorite" sister-in-law, Pat
