PLAIN, Robert Edward McVicar On December 11, 2002 Robert Edward McVicar Plain passed away suddenly at the age of 30 years in Oakville, Ontario. Robert will be sadly missed by his loving wife Heather Drummond-Plain; his parents Richard and Margaret; brothers Richard (Janet) and Thomas (Jaime); nieces Helena, Ava, Savanah and Hilary; grandfather Malcolm; loving relatives, wonderful friends and co-workers. Robert lived most of his life in St. Albert where he attended school, graduating with distinction from both Paul Kane High School and and the University of Alberta with a B. Comm. He excelled in many sports (rugby, basketball and volleyball), had a keen sense of humour and curiosity and loved gardening and animals. Robert and Heather have been happily married since 1993. Since his graduation Robert moved quickly through the corporate ranks. He was a National Account Manager for Cadbury Trebor Allan Inc. in Oakville, Ontario when he died. Friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Thursday, December 19, between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the St. Albert Funeral Home (Hwy #2 and St. Vital Ave.) A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Holy Family Parish Church at the corner of Sir Winston Churchill Avenue and Poirier Avenue in St. Albert. Reverend Scott Agur will be officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Albert Municipal Cemetery off Poundmaker Road. The reception after the funeral will be held at the St. Albert United Church located on Green Grove Drive off of St. Albert Road. Memorial donations may be made to Cardiac Treatment and Research c/o of the University Hospital Foundation, 8440-112 St., Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2B7, the S.P.C.A. in your area, or the St. Albert Botanic Park c/o 51 Wakefield Blvd., St. Albert, Alberta T8N 3G1.
