Robert Dwayne "Bob" Poppe

My grandpa was smart, strong, tall, quiet, brave, kind, loyal and fun. Hands down the greatest haircut of all time. "Grandpa fuzzy wuzzy" coined by me, his first grandchild. I will never forget his advice on investments, his negotiation skills over a Milky Way Candy Bar, his love for his entire family, and his quiet smile. He is already missed more than I could have imagined. I thank him for being a great grandpa, for taking care of grandma Helen, for bringing Oma Julia into our life, and for giving me an extended family with genuine people I always want to know.

Bob was big into investing in the stock market. I can remember that he always said "don´t trust your stock broker to know when to buy or sell your stocks!" He showed me a computer program that impressed me using information that he obtained in research of various stocks. This information was compared to that of his broker and he seemed to have a very successful result. Wonderful and caring person. He will be missed.
