Dear Theresa and Anne - I was so shocked and saddened today, to hear of Robert's passing. I will always remember what a support he was to my Mom and I when my Dad passed away, and how greatly comforted my Mom was by all the wonderful things Robert said about my Dad at his funeral service. Robert was a great inspiration to my son, Danny, too - Danny has always fondly remembered their talks during his confirmation. As parishioners of All Saints Bedford for the past 21 years, we will remember Canon Power as a person who genuinely cared and made a real difference to his community. He was a role model for integrity of character and an accomplished leader in faith. It was almost 4 years to the day that Robert was consoling our family in the sudden death of both of our parents. Today we are praying that Theresa and Anne can be consoled in the loss of Robert. The funeral service at the Cathedral today was truly befitting Robert's legacy; dignified, unassuming and solidly represented by those many people whose lives he touched. Drew McDade & Family. On hearing of Robert`s death we recalled his brave effort with you to gather with the Dartmouth Clericus at the Epiphany party in January. It was very special to have you there.
