My Condolences to Mrs. Prentice, Karen and family. I was an elementary school, and neighborhood friend of Karen's back in Norwalk, CT. We car pooled to piano lessons together; our dads taking turns driving. I saw the obituary in the Burlinton Free Press, Sunday paper. I was suprised to see that Mr. Prentice grew up in Middlebury. I've lived in Middlebury since 1993 with my husband and two children. I always dreamed of living in Vermont since I was a kid and spent a few summer vacations here. My interest probably started from hearing your family's stories of Vermont.
With Sincere Sympathy for your loss,
Wendy (Anderson) Covey

Uncle Bob was one of those special people that you seldom meet and always look forward to being with. He raised your level of awareness, expanded your knowledge, and tickled your sense of humor. Growing up with him as an uncle and having fun, is an understatement. Whether it was touch football in Gram and Gramp's front yard an a youngster, playing Torrey Pines as a young adult, or having a cold one, watching sports and solving the problems of the world later in life, I will always miss you and always love you. Thanks for giving me those special moments. And thanks, cousins, for sharing this memory.
