Robert Provost Obituary
He was born in Harkness on June 12, 1936.
Robert was employed as a correction officer for the Clinton County Sheriff's Department and City of Plattsburgh for many years. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by a daughter, Connie Seymour of Plattsburgh; a son, Robert Provost, and his companion, Tracey Collins of Schenectady; three sisters, Marge Mace of Keeseville, Shirley and Ray Segura of Kentucky and Martha Ward of Ohio; three grandchildren, Kristina and Robert LaBombard, Jennifer Garrow, Robert J. Provost Jr. and companion, Crystal Beshaw, and Marlena Scott; a great-granddaughter, Seanna Provost; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Peryer) Provost; his mother, Nellie Owens; and a son-in-law, Daniel Seymour.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery at a later date.
