Robert PRUDEN Obituary
October 27, 1926 – August 20, 2015
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert William Pruden on August 20, 2015 at the age of 88.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Doug (Kathi) of Calgary, Jeff, and Cathy of Edmonton. He is also survived by his special brother-in-law Miller Waling; brother Jerry (Sandy); 5 grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Dorine in 2010, brother Don,and infant son Brian.
Special thanks to the staff at Silver Birch Lodge in Sherwood Park, and the hospitals in Devon and Fort Saskatchewan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Glenwood Funeral Home (52356, Range Road 232, Sherwood Park).
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society.

We are so sorry for your loss Your dad was an amazing , kind and honourable man. He and your mom meant a lot to us. We are sure that Uncle Bob and Auntie Doreen are together and dancing in heaven watching over their family

To the Pruden family: My condolences on the loss of Robert Pruden. He and his wife Doreen were neighbours of mine at Villa St. Joseph and I miss them both terribly. They were the sweetest people I have ever met. They are both sorely missed.

Grandpa you will be forever missed. You were such a great cheerful guy. Took very well care of Grandma. I remember watching you in your garage with admiration with you building neat stuff and so smart at inventing neat items! We love you so much! Say hi to grandma up there for us. Rip.

Pruden famiy - sorry to read of your fathers passing. I know he took care of your mom for many years at home when she was ill becoming her main caregiver. He was also one of my baseball coachs when I was about 14 years old. Take care.
