Still think about Bobby often. Coming up is September when Bobby, Danny and myself joined the Navy and wondered what the hell we got us into. Miss him and Danny more than you can imagine.

We met at an early age at Parker Park and became life long friends. Had so many good memories that it is hard to list them all. Sixty Three years ago today we joined the Navy along with another close friend, Danny Conrad. I am so happy we spent some our later years traveling to Florida and Canada for reunions.

I had no idea of his passing nor did I of his bout with Cancer.

It saddens me to get this notice because, in my mind, we all live forever.

We grew up together as kids. From a very early age, I remember regularly being at each other house If memory serves, as we grew into our teens, there were many a card game that started at the Boyd Park playground only to end up with all of us around my dining room table (we lived overlooking the playground) where the game would continue. How my mom and dad put up with it is beyond me.

From Boyd Park in Newton, we migrated to Parker Park.
Again, this is from the memory of an 81+ year old. I am really not sure how accurate it is.

As the group from Parker Park went off into the service, I went off to Art School and did my stint in the Navy at a much later date.

Lots of fun at the Pupa's in Newton and Natick, at (Bobby's) Auntie Millie and Uncle Ted's pool table in Lexington, his Uncle Law's Barn, and gosh, so many other great memories of putting on haunted houses and magic shows for the neighborhood on Pearl Street.

Funny, while reading the obituary, I totally forgotten that he worked at Fenway Park as I had.

My condolences to Denise, Freddy and Marilyn and the extended family.

Denise, he really was a special, warm, and wonderful person.,,,
I am so sorry for your loss.

As we grew up at Parker Park, through high school, and later years as paths became divided, a reunion in Ft Myers was one of the fondest memories I will treasure. Rest in peace dear friend. Bob Skolnick

I met Bob and Fred on my first day of my first year as an Electrical apprentice at the Elliott street MBTA station in Newton
They tried to explain how important it was to be on time and keep your car in good condition so you can get to work every day and get home safe every night to your family
Probably because I had a beat up car with holes in the floorboards and Freddy had the best looking Monte Carlo I have probably ever seen
2 days later I had to give them a ride home to their parents house in my
Beat up car because Fred´s car was stolen while they were at work from that same MBTA station
From that day I made friends with 2 of the best people I have met in my almost 40 years in IBEW Boston Local 103
They introduced me to their parents, who let me park at their house and commute to work in Boston many times even when I wasn´t working with either of them

Bob and Freddy were lifelong friends
to me and many others in Local 103

I have so many happy memories of Bobby (and his welcoming family) on Pearl St, Newton during our high school years and after we all got out of the service parties on Peterson Rd in Natick. Over the years, we had several reunions of "the gang" (and our significant others) in Ft Myers, Maine, Montreal and Quebec. We all became friends with Denise and Marie-Claudette and Bob Chryssolor. Bobby was the trip planner and the glue that kept us all together. He was a great guy, full of fun and will be sorely missed.

He was a special person, always with a smile on his face. Had some great times with him when we were younger and also when we had some get togethers in Florida. Denise was loving wife and gave him much happiness. RIP

My brother´s laughter was contagious, I will miss his smile and twinkling eyes every single day. He loved his family and his friends so much, everyone couldn´t help but love him back. Bobby made everything so much fun. So many people are so sad and will miss him, especially his amazing wife Denise...who took unbelievable care of him and never left him alone. Fred, Peter and I are so very grateful. Bob loved her dearly....it showed every time he looked at her.

Bobby was loving and caring. The best brother-in-law a person could wish for. Loved by all our family and most of all by his wife, Denise.
