Robert Allen Ranson III

Robert, even though we are different, in a lot of ways we are the same. We never met, but yet we know each other. I'm sure you have taken this with you; so I'll write it as a reminder to myself:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

All we have is today, for tomorrow is never promised. Keep Comin' Back brother. And if no one has told you today that they love you, you are loved by many.

Robert was recommended to us as a wedding photographer last June and he was talented, sweet and accommodating. His vision and artistry were apparent as he captured precious photogrophic memories for us at the Jefferson Hotel, downtown Richmond. He is gone too soon and his family and close friends will remain in my prayers. Godspeed, Robert!

Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.

Friends of our God, though they may pass away,

Robert & Natalie, I can not express how sad I am to no longer have Robert with us. I so much enjoyed his friendship and I will miss his bright smile.

Hey Berto, you definitely know who I am by that nickname. It was great spending all of those days together at work tackling those massive distributions! Wow, remember Inventory, going out to the floor, every day! Talking about virtually anything between us both? Thank you for Janaya and I's Valentine's Day Pictures, Our Pre-Engagement Pictures, and our Wedding Pictures. Thank you for making magic happen when you hid behind the bushes at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in the HOT 100 degree weather for 20 minutes in order to capture on of the most magical moments of my life. Man, certainly will miss you; your photography is . . . and will forever be amazing! My prayers will always be with you, and your fam . . . certainly your very kind, sweet sister . . . Erica. Man, gone too soon. But, I'm sure we'll meet up, you're certainly in a better place. Rest in Peace friend.

Robert was a very caring wonderful friend to me and my family. I went to Middle School and High School with him. I will miss him sooo much. Rest In Peace Robert.

Robert was a very talented and gifted young man who spoke through his photography. He drew us in through the warmth he caught with his camera. His passion and creativity is not lost to us. We can view his accomplishments. Hopefully we can use part of his vision to view life and appreciate those around us.
