Robert Reber Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2022.
It is with very heavy hearts that we bid goodbye to our loving husband, father, brother, mentor, and friend Robert Reber. At 8:10pm on November 21st, with Smiley his devoted wife of 40 years and sons Bill and Matthew by his side, he went to meet our Lord. Robert was born in Weisburg, Indiana to his dear parents Hilda "Toots" and Raymond Reber. He grew up in Norwood, Ohio with brothers Raymond and Bill. After attending Ohio University, he began working in Life Insurance growing this into his life's career and a successful Retirement Planning company. Robert excelled in his industry, receiving numerous awards and accolades. He traveled the world giving speeches. He loved God, work, family, tennis, good food & wine! Robert had a heart larger than life and lived it to the fullest. He never met a stranger. His goal in life was to bring joy to those he encountered. His legendary, energetic personality transcended many people. He was a man of integrity. He thrived in a healthy lifestyle of proper diet and daily exercise. Surviving Robert are his sons Bill (Amy) and Matt (Alexa). He was an adoring Papa to Katelyn, DJ, Wyatt, and Elliott. Robert was also survived by daughters Paula and Jessica, his brother Bill (Dianna), brothers-in-law Ron (Diane) and Terry (Denise) Wampler of Florida, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousin. He is now at peace with his Lord. Robert chose to donate his body to UC Medical Center for research. A Memorial service is scheduled at St. Andrew's Church in Milford, Ohio on January 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow. If moved to do so in honor of Robert's memory, contributions to the Dementia Society of America or Hospice of S/W Ohio would be appreciated.

Rest in Peace with all our love. Until we meet again.
