Bob, what can I say except, thanks! Thank you for your friendship, and all the fun times we had, as a group, at the Y. It wouldn't have been as much fun without you! And Faye, thank you too for being part of our special little group. My condolences to you and your family!

Bob was a really fine man and his friendship meant a great deal to me when I worked at Demeries Creek and Richmond Hill Hatchery from 1975 to 1983. My heartfelt condolences to Faye and the family. Faye, you and Bob made me and Ann feel welcome in a strange city and in looking back, I can see how lucky I was to wind up in Savannah in the early years of my career as a fishery biologist. Bob, with his quips and jokes, kept me in stitches and that alone was worth a million dollars when I would be feeling low or get discouraged. He was a mechanical genius and I NEVER DID understand that maze of pumps and pipes that supplied water to the hatchery (his design) but that didn't matter. He never lost patience with me. I had tremendous love and respect for Bob and will always remember him fondly.
