We would like to offer our condolences to Reverend's Riegel's family and friends. He was a very supportive and caring minister during my brother's final days and funeral service. We were very greateful for his help.

A much-loved mentor to the youth groups at St. Luke's, Atlanta. I'm grateful to Kanuga for letting the diaspora of Atlanta know of his death; many of us have been away so long that we often miss out on such news from our once-home parish.

My family: wife, Temple; son, Richard and I were parishioners at St. James for seventeen years, fifteen of which were led by Bob as rector. He was special. Temple passed away from cancer in 1991. She is interred in the church memorial garden. Our son now lives in Atlanta,
Temple's home town where she first met Bob when he served at St.
Luke's. I am retired and reside in Hendersonville, NC and am a member of St. James (north) and sing in their senior choir.

Jim and Bob,
Ya'll are in my prayers as I loved your dad. Ya'll were like family at St. James, church basketball, Furman Racquet Club, Wade Hampton tennis and UGA/Stetson. He was a mentor, friend and as my mom said " good people" !
God Bless and take care!
