Robert Gray Riggs

Ours condolence to the family. Mr. Robert was more than a friend, he was like our father, grandfather to our daughters, He always went to music concerts at my daughter's schools, he always supported them he was wonderful man, we loved him very much, We shared in a red lobster restaurant. He always ate the lobsters with my husband. He looked so happy that it's a sad you left but we know you're in a better place. We will always remember you bob.

Bob was a great guy. A gentle soul. I remember doing the Lepoco Bike Ride (fundraiser) with him. I remember being pretty tired after the approximately 15 mile ride. But Bob had ridden his bike to the starting point and then rode home afterward. I believe he was 80 at the time.

Thanks for the good words and pictures here. So many people miss him! and this page gives both a pang, because, 'There he is!' - among his loved ones - and yet also comfort. Blessings on all who grieve for the parting, and especially in each member of the remarkable family.

Bob indeed will be remembered for his gentle kindness and generosity of spirit. I already miss him, particularly at LEPOCO gatherings.

Like so many others, I am missing a dear friend with a beautiful and generous soul. We will never forget his many gifts, including kindness that never lost its glow. Thank you, Bob, for sharing all of that with so many of us.

I have so many wonderful memories of the Riggs family as we grew up together at West Islip C of C. One special memory of Bob is that he taught me how to read music which has served me well over the years. Sending much love and prayers to the whole family.
