I was saddened to hear of the passing of my high school and college friend, Bob. We met up on several occasions, and never lost the friendship, picking up where we left off. I always thought about visiting you Bob, but the years rolled by. I tried to keep in touch every Christmas with a letter. I can't imagine how much anguish your family is going through, Bob. You all have my thoughts and prayers. I will miss you . Love, John.

Anne, Josh and Cara - We are heart sick that we missed offering our condolences to you timely. We just found out this morning. We are so sorry for your loss. With any luck Bob is torturing any number of school superintendents and baseball coaches.

Anne, Josh and Cara, and all the "Rohrer" cousins.
Family love be with you. Will always remember Bob (or "Bobby") as one of the "older cousins". Lots of smiles and laughs and love. Now he waits with the rest of the family to welcome us some day to that better place which our faith assures us of. May the grace of God be with you and memories of love keep you and bring you joy. Love; Paul, Brenda and the rest of the Hohman family.

My sympathy to Bob's family and loved ones; Bob worked in our Jamestown NYSUT Office; and he's the only person I can remember whose hand-writing was more illegible than Ernie Hand's. We had great fun teasing him about that trying to decipher when trying to complete his various projects which needed completion. Stay strong; I know you will. I planned on attending today with John Campion; but, am feeling poorly. Joyce Kellogg, Lakewood NY

Dear Anne and family....

No words can ease the pain of your loss at this time........the world is less bright with one of its brightest lights shining now in another area no longer visible and here with us..........remembering oh so many wonderful, difficult, challenging and yet hopeful times growing and learning and believing in all of us 'beginners' in the labor movement. You did that Bob, you helped so very many of us in UCPEU to live and work for the justice we so badly needed on the job. We grew together in our uniqueness, you never backed down from putting yourself 'out there' for us in so many ways endlessly. Thank you Bob Rohrer. Thank God for YOU! It has been my great privilege to have known you, grown with you, learned from you, 'labored' with you as you did will ALL of us in UCPEU! Thank you for helping all of us, the 'workers' the 'laborers' in UCPEU have protections and rights like we never did before. I am truly grateful for all you did for me/us. May God grant you eternal peace and may we one day see each other on the other side, raise a glass and dance once again this time in God's unchangeable contract of life eternal, a gift to each of us with nothing that needs to be brought to the table and 'negotiated' by you like you did here on earth for all us in UCPEU! You will be missed dearly Bob Rohrer!!!!

Anne please accept my deepest empathy at this most difficult time.

With much respect for Bob,

Cheryl Rogers
