Robert Ryan

A close friend from Cornell days I introduced Rob to Sharon, though their marriage came later. A keen mind and sense of humor, we enjoyed many delightful moments. I will miss his smile and friendship. Rest well, my friend.

Sorry to learn of your passing, Rob. You were a rare combination of old-world intellectual with varied and deep classical knowledge, combined with being a warm and fun-loving nice fellow with a great sense of humor. You will be missed.
