Robert D. "Bobby" Schneider

I will always treasure Bobby's wonderful laugh, his irreverent, clever sense of humor and incredible generosity. He never knew from feeling sorry for himself, regardless of the challenges he faced. Most of all, no one was ever more loving or loyal to both family and friends. Despite the distance and years that have passed, I will always count myself blessed to have been a small part of his life. His memory will live on. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Claudette, Travis, Derek and Renata. Find strength in knowing how many people loved Bobby.

On Tuesday October 16, 2007 GOD'S finger touched Bob and He slept.At that moment God commanded St Michel to lead a brigade of angels to escort Bob to heaven. And although we say farewell, there are thousands who are saying to Bob,welcome.Think where a man's glory begins and ends, my glory was I had such a friend. I will miss him dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

my thoughts and prayers go to his loving wife and children.so many memories,good times and laughter,whenever i play my guitar i think of bobby,he,s been a good friend and i will miss him.i,m sure he will keep everyone laughing up in heaven.

Bobby was a constant reminder to me of what a loving, kindhearted person should be like. As a young boy my impulses were most of the time self-centered. But when I was around Bobby I found in his goodness the way people ought to treat others. I think Bobby's secret was his gentle sense of humor. There was a time I thought that humor would dissolve. One particular day, Bobby and I went golfing. After convincing me that my poor golf swing and loss of golf-balls would not matter, Bobby took me to a local golf course. At the next to last hole with the basket of balls almost emptied, Bobby still managed to give me one of his famous hugs. I will miss him deeply but will always have his loving spirit in my thoughts and memories forever.

My heart goes out to his loving family and most strongly to his mother.

I cannot express the sadness if feel in my heart for the loss of Bobby Schneider. I have only lived in MA for a year and a half and met him through Renata and Derek who have befriended me and truly become like family. I was just getting to know Bobby. He treated me, a "Redneck" from Alabama, like a friend he had known for years when we talked. I truly enjoyed our conversations. I am fortunate to have had those few conversations and learned from them just a bit of the wisdom that Bobby had. He knew how to treat people and loved them. He will truly be missed. He has touched so many peoples lives that I care about, and I am so very sorry for his passing. I just want you to know that I am here for you all in any capacity that I can help. Thanks for reading.

Bobby, I thank you for your kindness, caring, friendship and love. I shall miss you but I'll always see much of you in your children, my friends Renata, Travis and Derek. They will take great care of the lovely Claudette too. I'm so glad you were a part of my life, I shall keep you proudly in my heart and memory always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I would like to express my condolences to the family and friends of Robert Schneider. These are difficult times, however, much comfort can be found in God's Word the Bible with such scriptures as Isa.25:8, and Ps.37:11,29.

He was a great and funny man who will be sorely missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers always.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bobby was a great man that touched so many poeple. He had a heart of gold. I will never forget him as a basketball coach when I was really little, and everyone knows I was never an athlete, but he was so kind and made it fun anyway. My deepest sympathies.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
