Although it has been many months since he's passing, I just found out about this sad loss. I will forever be grateful to this great man for he saved my life. I was a hard to diagnose cancer patient in Chicago, and thank God my doctor submitted my slides to Dr Scully. He's name is all over my medical records. He instructed my surgeons on what path to take. I am alive an well thanks to this wonderful, caring, and insightful Doctor. Rest in Peace Dear Doctor. I will never forget what you have done for me.

For the Scully-Raines Families and Survivors: Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Robert Scully. As a woman physician and as a person with ovaries, I am most grateful for Dr. Scully's lifelong dedication to the improvement of women's health. He has saved the lives and fertility of many women, and he has greatly advanced our medical understanding of the many different types of ovarian tumors that can occur, each with its own different patterns of progression, and options for therapy. Many thanks, Patricia Rose Falcao, MD, MPH, FACOG Needham, MA 02492
