Robert SETTERS Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Jul. 2, 2015.
SETTERS, Robert
Robert Setters (aka Bob), late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on June 26, 2015 in Abbotsford. He is survived by his wife Madeleine Hardin, his mother Jean Setters, his sister Deb Setters, his brother Barry Setters and many beloved nieces and their spouses in AB and BC. He was predeceased by his father Clint Setters. Bob never met a dog he didn't like or a dog that didn't like him. He was a bit more discerning with people and as a consequence had a small circle of family and friends who loved to be with this kind, thoughtful, teasing, loving man. Bob loved the people in his circle, and they loved him back. He had a special relationship with his nieces Errin and Deirdre in Alberta and his wife Madeleine's family in BC, especially Katherine, Mo, Linda, Dean, Tanis, Annika, Erik, Christina, Knute and Erika. His greatest pleasure came from riding his motorcycles and feeling the power of the machine, the freedom and discovery of the road. His other great pleasure was watching and playing baseball. It is no small thing to love well, and those who loved him, will miss him deeply. No service by his request. Tributes and condolences may be left at www.hendersonsabbotsfordfunerals.com.
