Thinking of you.

Your smile brightened the room as soon as you walked in. When you gave a hug, there was no safer place in this world. Your thoughtfulness was unsurpassed and the laughter that trailed you, may it never dim. You have been thought of, remembered, laughed with and at it is still so hard to think of you not physically with us. Life goes on they say, it's just so hard to go on with just memories to hug now.

I share the Air Force heritage with you. You were truly being your brother's wingman. With your father, I share the legacy of the American School of Madrid. My deepest sympathies to him and your family. God Bless.

I think about you all day every day! I miss you so much and wish that you were still with us. I am thankful that I have so many great memories with and of you that I can always reflect on, but I wish that there were so many more! Robert was a member of our health club in Lake Forest, and in the short time we had him as a member we were just so impressed by his kindness and warm smile, his enthusiasm for life, and his passion for health and fitness. I didn't write in your book at your memorial service because at the time I didn't know what to say. I still don't, I'm sorry that this happened to such an amazing person. Your personality was addicting, there was no way to have a bad time when you were around. I miss you.... I'll do my best not to cry because I know you wouldn't want me to. Love ya Rob!

Robert - I never met you, but I know your mother. What a wonderful,dedicated and hardworking athlete. Always a smile on her face and a kind word to share. My heart breaks for the family of this young man. I don't know Robert as I read about this tragic story in the newspaper. It is so sad that someone with so much to offer the world was taken too soon by an act of violence. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as I can't imagine there is anything more difficult that outliving your child. May God bless you all and keep you strong and may justice be served.
