Robert David Siew, Sr., born on 13 March 1969, passed away suddenly on the 7 February 2017. He is leaving behind his loving partner Tamara of 30 years and their three children: Robert (Brittni), Justin (Nikki), and Courtney (Luke). He will be missed by his mother, siblings, nephews, nieces and adoring cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Bal and brother Sidney. Robert was a devoted husband and dedicated father who loved nothing more than the time spent with his family. Apart from family, Robert's passion was the sea; a keen mariner and sport fisherman he spent much of his free time reveling in the joys of the ocean. Robert enjoyed countless hours on his boat, with family and friends passing on his knowledge of fishing and the sea. While he enjoyed the thrill of the catch, he enjoyed the joy of cooking the prize even more. There wasn't a species of fish that Robert couldn't prepare as a delicious delicacy - often explaining how to prepare some exotic species of fish that few had heard of. When not out on the ocean, Robert's passion for the sea continued through his collecting of fishing equipment, tackle, and antique nautical instruments. Robert was truly a special man, a man of principles, and a friend to all he met - dedicated to family above all else. While taken from us much too soon, he will be forever missed by all those who loved him. A service to celebrate "all that was Robert" will be held on Lake Worth Beach (by the pier) on Saturday, 11 February at sunset, 6:00PM. Black suits and boring black dresses are NOT required.
