Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your father and grandfather. What a fine man he was, always smiling, always so friendly. May you take comfort in knowing that he is now in his heavenly home among those he loved so much.

I worked with your dad at Grace Hospital from 66-69. I was a student nurse and after just a few short months of working on the wards I knew he was a warm wonderful man. One day I had the misfortune(in my haste) to push open one of the fire doors in the hallway and it smacked your dad in the forehead, knocking him to his knees. I was so upset however through the stars he was seeing he reassured me he was ok and from that moment on we were great friends - he would constantly say 'oh no here SHE comes-lookout! Each time we met in the hall we would smile and then laugh together.

My thoughts are with all of you at this time as I know Bob's personality was so big - I pray for peace and strength in the days ahead for all.
