William E. Tracy

p>William E. Tracy, age 82 died on April 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden. Born in Newark, N.J. he was raised in Denton, Md. and has lived in Sewell for the past nine years. He was a Army Air Corp veteran serving from 1942-1946. While in the military he received E.A.M.E. with four Bronze Stars and an Air Metal with a Bronze Star. In 1987 he retired from American Meter Co. in Philadelphia where he worked in Accounting for over 36 years. William was a former member of St. Stephen¹s Church in Pennsauken where he served as Lecturer and Eucharistic Minister and a current member of Most Holy Redeemer Church in Deptford. William was the grandson of one of the founding members of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid bowler for over 40 years with his wife and enjoyed playing cards and golfing.

He was the loving husband of 61 years to Jane E. Tracy (nee Cullinan), father of William Jr. of Calif., Kathleen (Dave) of N.Y., Janet (Don) Priest of Sewell, Jim Tracy of South Brunswick, Robert (Pat) of Deptford; brother Basil (Edwyna) Tracy; grandchildren Brian (Jessica) Bell, Denise (Darren) Bell-Koller, Karen (Chris) Stabell, Cathy Lynn (Scott) Alscher, Luanne (Ray) Listman, Peter Tracy, Katie Tracy, Melissa (Marty) Finn, Robert Tracy, Colleen Tracy; and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Joseph T.

Friends may call on Thursday after 7 p.m. and Friday 10-11AM in the BUDD FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, N.J. Funeral mass will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. in Most Holy Redeemer Church, Delsea Dr., Deptford. Interment New St. Mary¹s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
