Robert Sofia

Robert S. Sofia, a cherished member of his family, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at the age of 83 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Born on June 19, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Robert displayed a strong work ethic and a warm spirit throughout his life.

Robert dedicated many years of his career to painting, an occupation that not only brought him joy but allowed him to express his artistic talents. His career also included a significant tenure with the state of Massachusetts, where he served in the trial courts. Robert took pride in his work and approached each task with diligence and care.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Robert was a devoted family man. He is remembered as a loving and supportive father, always present for his children and working tirelessly to provide for them. His enduring love and commitment to family were evident in everything he did, as he embraced the role of being "the best dad."

He possessed a kind personality, welcoming everyone into his life with open arms. Robert was known for his generosity and often shared his talents with friends, helping them with various home projects. Known for enjoying sports, a true New England fan, he led an active lifestyle and appreciated the simple routines that brought him satisfaction.

Robert proudly served his country as a clerk in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964, a time that instilled in him values of dedication and service.

He is survived by his beloved children, Nora Sofia, Robert Sofia, and Victoria Sofia, and his sister, Barbara Sofia. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geraldine Sofia.

Robert's legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering love will continue to resonate among those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
