Solly will be deeply missed by all of his "Dollbeer" family in Mesa Arizona. We all have many fond memories of times spent golfing with him and he was always up for a happy hour, telling jokes and just enjoying everyone's company. He will be missed deeply!

To the Solinger family:
I remember like it was yesterday when Bob came to Edmonton to play with the Flyers. He was not only an outstanding hockey player and athlete but a model citizen and one to whom all who were his friends looked up to and admired for all the right reasons. He was a man of integrity and gave much of himself to all who came into contact with him. He was 10 years older than I and he was truly my hero. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I am sorry I could not attend the funeral mass to express my personal condolences but hopefully this short note in some small way serves that purpose. May Bob rest in peace – a peace he so much deserves.

Solly was one of a kind. A fun loving man and an outstanding athlete. Bob was not only a great professional hockey player also an all-around baseball player who starred with Fort Saskatchewan as well as other teams in the area.
"Solly" rest in peace.

Fond memories playing with Solly during Edmonton Flyers time. Solly was a very very good defenseman. He was also a very funny man with good sense of humor. He will be missed by all.
