When I think of a tough guy, I think of Robert Stack. His confidence was spellbinding. As a young boy I would try to emulate his walk. That was funny. No one can walk like Robert Stack.

My cable just started showing METV and I was delighted to see my favorite show ever - The Untouchables. Robert Stack, Paul Picerni and Nicholas Georgiade were my first crushes (at the tender age of 4!) and Mr. Stack was my role model for my only career goal - law enforcement. I did reach and enjoy said goal, but I sure didn't have that wonderful voice, steely gaze or great hair! I'm sorry I never got the opportunity to tell how crazy I was about him as a kid, or how much I enjoyed him following his career in Airplane or Unsolved Mysteries. Tracey, Dayton, OH

I think of MR Robert Stack and see this sweet guy who touched everyones life,he was like someone
who came and made your day when he did unsolved Mysterious
man did he project and image, his voice was so scary it was a voice that most people cant help but hear going into the bathroom it just follows you, MR Robert Stack was somebody who cared he made you sit and listen to these cases, a personal incident may never have brought him to the show, like the John Walsh and america most wanted
but he was there and when you watched him you got sucked up by his errie voice and the strange music, I have seen alot of actors in my life time and I have to say
they didnt have what MR Robert Stack had, he had this strange power
which pulled you toward the stories
he told on the show, I always enjoyed seeing his trench coat and him popping out from behind trees
he had this way of saying I want my presence felt because I am going to tell you something that could help solve a Mystery and prephaps the captor could be you
he seemed to be very animal oriented and always or most of the time told his animal tales with well an animal,MR Robert stack
was a great man, who well be remembered for somebody who wasnt just an actor but a guy who made you, think hey I can make a difference, Unsolved Mysterious was and always will be a show which
continues to make you believe that in every case their is a mystery which a viewer can help solve, and prehaps that viewer is you
the other show is John Walsh's AMW
his is a story of personal tradgedy
may Mr Robert Stack Dance with the Angels in Heaven forever and may his presence be ever felt hear in the hearts and minds of the people
who have been touched by his great presence.

Robert Stack was a wonderful actor. He was also a excellent marksman, having won several championships in the 1930's in skeet shooting. He was the perfect host for "Unsolved Mysteries." My grandmother always loved the Eliot Ness character he played on television, sad to say, both Mr. Stack and my grandmother died the same day. We will bury my grandmother this weekend in Houston, Texas. Rest in Peace, Eliot and Grandma.
