Robert E. Stauble

Robert E. "Bob" Stauble of West Yarmouth and Hillsboro Beach Florida, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2014 at the age of 85, with his family by his side. Bob was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, soldier and friend. Bob served his country during World War II and the Korean War for eight years as a Master Sergeant. Bob loved his faith and family above all else. He will always be remembered with much love and laughter. Born in Bronx, New York, Bob was the son of the late John J. Stauble and Marie (Farrell) Joly. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Phil Stauble, and his sisters Marianne Medeiros and Rita Wilson. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years. Genevieve (Kowalchuck). He was the devoted father of Robert E. Stauble Jr. & his wife Deborah of Glastonbury, CT., Mary Cardillo & husband Joey of Boca Raton, FL, Jennifer Smyth of Deerfield Beach, FL, John Stauble & wife Marlene of Enfield, CT, Patty Cloherty & husband Brian of South Boston, and Katy Horgan & husband Brian of Duxbury. He was the cherished grandfather to Amanda, Matt and Robert Stauble, Samantha Cardillo, Stephanie Stauble, Brian and Lauren Cloherty and Anna, Lilly and Matthew Horgan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, FALMOUTH CENTER. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at St. Thomas Chapel, Falmouth Heights Rd, Falmouth. Interment will be at 1:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne.
