I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
Rabbi Martin William Shorr
September 29, 2014
Unfortunately, I just found out about the passing of the great Bob Strauss. Bob was not only a wonderful gentleman and a fabulous business man, he was a true family man. He is a mench among other men. The world would be a great deal better if there were more men like Bob in it. When Bob and Natalie left New Castle, they left a void that could not be filled. He lived a complete life of Judaism, and knew how to treat people correctly. Through a tremendously challeging life, he remained a super husband, an attentive father, and the uncle that everyone could count on. I am saddened that I missed being able to officiate at Bob's funeral and even more saddened that I could not be there. He is a man that will truely be missed. His family should be comforted to know that his soul will assend to the highest point of the garden of Eden. Rabbi Martin William Shorr and Stacy.
