I met Bobby in 1986 at Bain. We moved in the same office space together and spent many after work activities in Boston. When I moved out of my apt and had only a temporary bedroom in a condemned house in Cambridge (Bobby made lots of jokes about it) I crashed a number of nights at his place downtown. My wife and I visited him in Burlington in 1989. I consider him one of the closest friends I have.

Oh Bob what a dynamic spirit and personality you were!!! Getting to know you, your sence of humor and desire to remain present for your family will forever stay a precious memory. I considered you my friend and being a caregiver for you for over a year I learned so much, not only about the Parkinsons journey and the many challenges, but how important your determination played in your survival. Also, you kicked my butt in Trivia every time! You were so sharp! I learned about your life daily and how proud you were of your wife, your two boys and your love for tootsie pops. No more lollipop drop offs, so long my dear, dear friend.

Bob was a light to the world, his family and his friends. I worked with Bob at the Brien Center and he felt deeply for his patients and their struggles. He moved through a long, challenging illness with grace and a sense of humor. Bob, we love you and will miss you. Liza, Max and Isaac are in our hearts.

It was a privilege to train alongside Bob. I find myself thinking about his smile and laugh often in the last few days. My heart is with Liza and their 2 sons.

My deepest condolences to the family of Bobby. I was a schoolmate in middle school and high school in So. Burlington. Bobby was a sweet, kind, energetic boy, a tousled redhead, with that Tabakin impish smile and a ready humor, intellect, gregariousness. Always a loving boy and teenager. We all used to hang out as kids in middle school. My deepest sympathies to his family and community. Laura
