Bob came to Novartis India as Managing Director around the year 2000/2001. Though he was here for a short stint I got to know him closely during that time. A couple of changes that he made during his short tenure continue and this was his lasting legacy. More than that, he was an absolute gem of a person. Very upright and someone who listened to understand. I continued to be in touch with him on an off on Twitter. May God give his family strength to deal with this loss. May his soul rest in peace.
