You all are continually in my prayers. I didn't see Bobby as often as I'd liked to once we were older. When I would run into him I left with a smile as his smile was contagious and genuine. He could be so silly yet at the same time be one of the most authentic people I've known.
Knowing that he became a Christ follower, secured his eternal life in Heaven and that we will see him and hear his laughter again thus allowing us to think about him in the present and future tenses brings comfort.

Bobby and I had some great battles in the discus ring in 1976. You are gone too soon Bobby, but safe in the arms of the Lord now. Rest peacefully buddy.

A great athlete with a big heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
