I remember Bob's Mom, Mary, and Shirley-Ann's parents, the Turners, because both were on my Drumheller Mail paper route when I was a kid. How sad for you to lose both Budge and Bob in the same month. All our parents were good friends & now another tie with the past has been broken. I remember all the Noble kids visiting too, & wish Eleanor would contact me by email. My condolences to all.

I was so surprised to read Bob's obituary. Everything that was written was exactly how I remember him. I am certain that you will cherish all the memories of your husband and father. thinking of you all.

Bob was always ready for a social celebration and great conversation. I have been blessed to experience the joy and laughter of the Thomson clan. Bob would never say no to dim sum and a good Chinese meal. His goodness and kindness will never be forgotten and I will miss him dearly. My deepest condolences to Shirley-Ann, Mari- Lynn , Colin, John, Keiko, Maya and the rest of he family.
Thanks Bob for showing us all how a life can be beautifully lived. Much love David Wong

Mimi and I are so, so sad. Our life in Victoria brightened every Friday, as we anticipated seeing all of our good friends, including Shirley-Ann and Bob, a truly kind, thoughtful, and gentle man. Bob was an effortless listener and a wonderful story teller; oh how we shall miss him.
