Robert Tillander Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 3rd, 1932, Bob decided early on that he would make something of himself- he met and married the love of his life, Eli, who supported him as he established a thriving business and fulfilling family life.
He is survived by his brother Tommy, two daughters, Michelle and Marie, and granddaughter Danielle.
Always ready with a joke or uplifting thought, we hope that his memory will live on in the happiness, cheer, and smiles that he brought to others!
A Funeral Mass and Interment will be held at Saint Nicholas Catholic Church in Virginia Beach on March 1st, starting at 11AM. As an alternative to flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Heart Association (stroke.org).

Bob and Ellie were like a 2nd set of parents for me. Michelle and Marie were like my sisters I never had.
Our families celebrated holidays , beach time and some traveling together over 14 years in Toms River.
Bob always had funny stories. He could have been a comedian. He is the last of the adults I grew up with in my neighborhood that, til this day, there is little bit of him in me. He had a wonderful personality and positive outlook on life. May he be having another dance with Eli. Rest in Peace RLT.
