Robert and Cheryl Timmerman

BROWNSBORO - A service of celebration for the life of Robert Charles "Robbie" Timmerman, 47, and his wife, Cheryl Howell Timmerman, 42, of Brownsboro is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Athens, with the Rev. Robert Welch officiating.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Mr. & Mrs. Timmerman died March 9, 2011.
They had two children, Madison and Abigale Timmerman.
"Robbie" was born February 2, 1964, in Dallas. He was a 1982 graduate of Athens High School. For the past 20 years he owned Tex Pac Express and Timmerman Delivery Service. He was active in youth sports activities, especially his daughters' softball. Robbie was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A brother, Michael David Kirk, preceded him in death.
He is survived by parents, Marvin and Patsy Timmerman of Athens; brother, Steve Kirk and wife, Ginger, of Athens; sister, Lynda Lynette Timmerman of Lindale; nephews, Barrett Kirk and wife Nicole, John Kirk and wife Maranda, all of Houston; two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Cheryl was born June 19, 1968, in Athens. She was a 1986 graduate of Pine Tree High School in Longview and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. She was a Certified Public Accountant and was co-owner with her husband in Tex Pac Express and Timmerman Delivery Service. Cheryl was actively involved in the Brownsboro Community and coaching girls softball was her life. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church
She is survived by parents, Don and Cheryl Howell of Longview; brothers, Jerry Howell and James Howell, both of Longview; sister, Stephanie Heim and husband, Shane of Murchison; nieces, Mackenzie Howell, Ambrielle Heim, Jaelyn Howell and Braelee Heim.
Pallbearers for Robbie are Richard Cooper, Barrett Kirk, David Tumlinson, John Kirk, Monte Boyd and Johnny Massey.
Pallbearers for Cheryl are Jerry Howell, Mitchell Ipock, Gary Howell, Shane Heim, Tommy Isaac and Jeremy Kirkpatrick.
