ROBERT BRANDON TOLBERT (Age 62)
It is with great sadness that the entire family of Robert Brandon Tolbert, of Rockville, MD, announces his passing on Friday, November 3, 2017 after a long hard fight with and against cancer. Bob will forever be remembered and loved by his wife, Judith Jambor Tolbert; his son Robert Kyle; sister, Sharon Tolbert Carpenter; and brother, Ron Tolbert. Bob also leaves behind Billy and Jessie, his beloved Golden Retrievers. Bob is predeceased by both his parents Dave and Irene Tolbert. Bob will also forever be remembered by his numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and dear friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11 a.m. at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. Following a celebration to honor Bob will be held at the Rockville Elks Lodge, Rockville, MD at 1 p.m. If you so wish, in lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation to the Montgomery County Humane Society in Bob Tolbert's name. With a smile and helpful hand, Bobby was the first to greet us, when we moved into our space in Wintergreen Plaza. Eleven years have passed, since then, and we continue to remember his friendly spirit.

I knew that Bobby was special way back a long time ago when I coached Optimist boys baseball. The memorial celebration yesterday was a wonderful testimony to Bobby and his family. We lost a wonderful man but his memory will last forever.

I first met Bobby at Twinbrook Elementry in 1962. I know he enjoyed the many youth sports programs at Twinbrook, Broome and RMHS.

I have many great memories of Bob, everything from our softball days in the City of Rockville to our Sunday's at his house watching football to our Golf Tournaments at Carroll Valley just to name a few.

Bob was a great organizer, coordinator and team builder, but most of all a great friend, he will surely be missed.
