We worked on Bobs Coach. He loved camping and traveling with his family and lovely wife. I am sad to hear of his passing. The little I knew he was quite impressive. He was sweet, kind and yet demanded respect. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to you all. Many Blessings and RIP Bob.

We first met Bob when we fabricated machinery for him. He was patient, provided advice and held schedules. When he showed up at our operation our work force wanted to work with him. The mechanics and machinists that didnt remember his name would tell me that Smiley is here.

Bob and I developed a sound business and personal friendship. The way he helped on the job site or in the evenings at my home I thought I must be his best friend. As time moved on, I found that everyone was his best friend.

May we remember his style and mannerisms as he sails with the great spirits.

I am very sad to hear of Bobs passing. I worked with Bob for many years, traveling to places all over the world. Bob was like a brother to me. We worked hard and drank a few beers along the way. I will miss him.

I will always remember so many fun family memories we have over the years with Barb and Bob: Camping with them years ago in the Colorado mountains (getting stuck with our old Scout, for one), getting our sons dog, Dinks, from Barb and Bobs friends, going to spring training baseball games in Arizona and regular season games in Denver, all the holiday meals and get-togethers with Auntie Florence and Uncle John, the Eulers, the Hlavaceks, and the youngsters and then the extended families as we/they all grew up, and then just dining and visiting as couples together. And I remember all the times Bob kidded me over the years about not realizing our son, Brian, had pitched a perfect baseball game in high school summer baseball until he told me afterwards, since its unlucky to talk about it while its happening. ❤ And what fun times talking about the Cubs and the Packers and the Rockies and the Broncos We will certainly miss you, Bob! With love to our family, Ray and Sharon

To Bob (Roberto) and his family:

I can't begin to tell you how sad I feel with Bob's passing! As you may know, I am the Police Courier at the Arvada PD. For nearly 12 years I worked with Bob and was so proud and privileged to do so. Bob was the closest thing to being a 'true friend' that I believe I have ever had! He had such a tremendous work ethic and a professional commitment to the men and women of the Police Department. He knew just about all of them and they knew him, as well. His 'wit and quick thinking remarks' always made me laugh and I enjoyed that so very much. He always applied himself to the safety and well being of the officer's when it came to ALL aspects of their vehicles and equipment. I was always impressed with the care and respect he applied to carrying out any task that he was given. More than that, he would seek out any opportunities he could to help them and make things easier, if he could. Whether it was taking care of the Command Van (which he took great pride in); providing transport for the Police Officer's during the yearly 'run'; getting cars prepped and as presentable as they could be for 'special events'; conducting 'orientation training' for the officer's who would be assigned to operate and drive the Command Van; taking time out on weekends to help with the other volunteers clean make fresh the patrol units - and most importantly - he never failed to acknowledge the officer's as they departed the station for duty by verbally telling them to 'Be Safe' - - - and he really was genuine in that gesture!

Bob was a wonderful guy! He was funny; very dedicated to his family and the 'grand kids' (whom he loved and enjoyed tremendously). I heard so many tales of the things he would be involved in with his wife and daughters and the kids. There was a definite gleam in his eyes just telling me about them with a heartfelt grin on his face in doing so! I can't deny that they were the love of his life!

You have been in my daily prayers for many years - hoping that you and Barb would travel safely 'to and from' Arizona and to RV events that you guys enjoyed and participated in. You gave me so many laughs with your 'more than honest' appraisals of the world of politics and life in general. Our conversations and time together on the days you came in to work with me was a true 'joy' and I always knew that you were so proud to be a part of Arvada Police Department and anything associated with it!

I will miss you so very much, Bob! We had so many laughs and great conversations! You will remain in my prayers along with Barb. You were, and remain, one of the nicest and most courteous guys a person could have ever been fortunate enough to know and spend time with! I will never forget you, Bob!

Rest in Peace, my friend!
Bill
