Dear Glenn, Donna, Brad, Bobby, and Brian,
I am very sorry for your loss. Your father had an important presence in my life as a child. He had a very strong physical presence which always made me feel protected. He also had a sensitivity about him that made me feel welcome. As a young, tentative child, venturing down from the other end of the block, trying to compete with the Wartman Boys, I couldn't have asked for much more. He certainly will be missed, but I hope that you can be comforted, as I am, by that presence and other memories that he has left us with.
