Robert L. Wegener

On April 4th, 2023, after a long illness, Robert L Wegener (Bob) Wegener passed away at his home in Loudon, TN. Bob was born on July 28th, 1946 to Margaret (Borski) Wegener and Robert A Wegener at Mercy Hospital Oshkosh, WI. Bob attended and graduated from Oshkosh area schools and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Bobs career in Health Care began as an aide while he was in college, continued as an RN/BSN, and ended on his retirement from The WI Resource Center where he was the Health Service Director. During college, he married his high school sweetheart, Anne Conroy. Bob and Anne were married one month shy of 58 years. They had one daughter, Stacie L Benson (Dan) and 2 grandchildren, Edward and Caroline Benson. Bob was active in many sports including baseball, x-country skiing, basketball, track, golf, hiking and biking. Bob andd Anne loved traveling and spent time in 4 Canadian provinces and all 48 continuous states, living in 4 of them. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother to Pat (Ronald) Stearns, and Uncle to Renee, Ellen, and Lynne. His parents preceeded him.
