Robert Woodhead Obituary
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 18, at 10:00 AM. Service will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Sterlington to honor his life.
Robert was born April 19, 1922 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to Kenneth W. Woodhead and Ethel May Woodhead. In 1927, his family moved to Sterlington, Louisiana where he resided until entering the United States Naval Air Corp. serving four years in active duty. After his marriage he opened his first business in Sterlington, later opening OTASCO where he was in business for 33 years. He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Betty, and their children, Jason and wife Sherry, Eric and wife Tracey, Ashley and husband Jamie Stapleton. Also surviving him, are six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Dear Ms. Betty & Family,
With great sorrow I learned of Mr. Woodhead's passing. As I mentioned when I last visited with y'all, Mr. Woodhead taught me more about salesmanship and managing a business than all of my 'formal education' ever did. I thought of him often during my career and I will always remember him as a wonderful person and a superb role model for me and many other young people. God Bless you all in this time of loss.
