WORMALD, Robert "Bobby"
Passed away November 18, 2013, age 70. Married for 46 wonderful years to Marilyn (nee Brady), loving dad to Jason and Christine (Mark), awesome papa to Hailey, Emma and Brady. Robert always had a laugh or a story to share, and faced every obstacle with grace and humour. His upbringing in Chateauguay gave him cherished lifelong friends and many memories of school, the Chateauguay Canoe Club, boating, fishing and many sports. He and his friends had many adventures (and misadventures) through the years. He truly enjoyed his career as a "ramp rat" at the airport with General Aviation and Canadian Airlines, and no doubt brought a smile to his coworkers every day...his nickname there was the "Mayor of Chateauguay". A special thank you to St. Mary's Hospital Dialysis Unit for their care over the years, and to the doctors and nurses of the Royal Victoria's ICU. He lived well, laughed often and loved much. Visitation Saturday, November 23 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial at 5 followed by a small reception at Yves Légaré-Wilson's Funeral Home, 123 Maple, Chateauguay. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice.
