Robert WRIGHT Obituary
July 15, 1938 – November 10, 2013
Bob died peacefully, in Palliative Care, in Nanaimo BC. He served for 15 years in the RCAF and 20 years as a civilian employee of D.N.D. In 1991 he married Veronica Renaud MacMillan and they retired to Vancouver Island. Bob had a busy, happy retirement. He became a square dance caller/teacher. They travelled to dance events and also took cruises. He was a ham operator, a Mason (Russell Lodge) and a Shriner (Gizen Temple). His is survived by his wife and two of his seven siblings. I worked closely with Bob for a number of years and he was always results oriented. He helped solve more than a few mysteries.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob for several years at the Communication Security Establishment before his retirement. In a a world of confusing and often unthinking bureaucracy, Bob was usually the voice of reason and clarity. He is missed.
