Robert Donald Yelenic

I asked a friend why it was so hot in his truck. He replied that it was an old truck and it did not bother him that the air was blowing hot because he never sits on the passenger side. He then said that if the passenger needed to be cooled hed get a block of ice and the air moving over the ice would cool things down, no sense spending a lot of money. I immediately though of you. So many rimes I hear things like this and you pop into my mind. I smile and then remember that you are no longer here for me to call and talk to. I miss your physical presence, but you are always with me spiritually. Thank you for the lessons you taught and the laughter you brought our family. We need so much more of that.

Bob, its been over a year now and I miss you so much. I could always count on you for some light hearted banter, a good joke, or just someone to listen to me when I needed to just say what was on my mind. Never failing you have been my champion and pressed me to find and do better things in life. I wish you were here now to help me find my way. Be at peace, I love you and miss you.

Grandpa, I love and miss you. I wish I could have been there for you and grandma. I know you are at peace and will take comfort in the fact that family and friends are better people from the love you gave us and the lessons you taught us.

Bob, I'll miss you! It won't be the same going home with an empty truck!
